Leaving the West
I’ve left the west coast of Australia, heading the direction of the east.
I'm embracing tortoise energy in this new chapter,
imparting new imprints on my nervous system.
Just how slow can I go?
One thing at a time
Remembering to breathe all the way down into my belly
Nature soundscapes as my soundtrack
The last 2 years has been a whirlwind of overstimulation
Something I have been acutely aware of and have wanted to change for quite sometime now
So on my journey of out WA I held a funeral for the old parts of me that died with the completion of this last chapter in the West, parts of myself that I no longer wish to embody.
A new version of me will emerge with time
I'm giving space & loving compassion to this blossoming
For life has its own unfolding and I trust that
For now there is no agenda,
Other than to drink in fullness of the present moment.
To the direction of the east, I welcome you with open arms
And oh how I know you're going to transform me.
