The Experience

I will arrive to your home at the booked time and we will choose a suitable space for the massage. Please have your 3 pillows & towels handy (I provide covering to protect from oil) It takes me around 10 minutes to set up the table/the nest - in this time I invite you to relax and connect with your breath & baby.

We will have a chat to see what your needs are as this massage is completely catered to you. Now, I will run you through a standard session but always know we work to your comfortably level.

You begin by laying on your side… I work from the glute down the thigh, up the back to the neck around the shoulder, down the back, around the belly and up over the heart (between the breasts) with beautiful rhythmic stokes. This Hawaiian style pregnancy massage really allows the mind to unwind and your body to release tension and relax. When that side has had some loving care, we turn you over for the other side body to receive the same love.

Turning onto the back (if comfortable), the arms, heart, belly, head, neck and shoulders are massaged before moving down to the feet. This is a full body massage designed to support your changing, growing mama body and establishing some relaxation in the muscles and mind can also assist with a more easeful birth.

You will have time at the end to melt into the table and feel at peace with your baby.

    Because this early stage can be sensitive, both physically and emotionally, your session will be tailored with extra care, comfort, and grounding. Techniques are kept gentle, and your body’s cues are always honored.

    If you’re experiencing complications or have been advised that your pregnancy is higher-risk, it’s best to check in with your healthcare provider before booking.

    Otherwise, first-trimester massage can offer a peaceful moment to relax, breathe, and nurture yourself during this new beginning.

  • This massage is NOT suitable:

    • High-risk pregnancy

    • Severe swelling, high blood pressure, or preeclampsia

    • Preterm labor symptoms

    • Blood clots or deep vein thrombosis (DVT)

    • Recent bleeding or complications

  • Yes, absolutely! Massage is generally safe throughout the third trimester and can help relieve discomfort and promote relaxation before labor.

  • No, it will not induce labor. Certain acupressure points are avoided during pregnancy.
