I had to check my ego at the door

And crack my heart w i d e open

Complete surrender is the only way

Trust in the process

There is no facade here

It's a place so rooted in truth

They say there is life before coming to Egypt and life after

I feel this in my body, my mind is catching up

I am not the same

The ancient structures make you realise the more you learn, the less you know

Just revel in the mystery

And the people,

wow.

They have taught me to lean into the simplicity of life

To give more than you take

To never shy away from the gift of my directness

That the universal language connecting us all is as simple as a smile

And to sit in the deepest gratitude for the freedom & privilege I was born into

I have never been so genuinely sad to leave somewhere, so it's a see you soon from me.
