The pleasure of slowing down

This cycle I am grounding my feet so deep into the earth
Not even a cyclone could move me

Hands clawing the forest floor
What will I find down here amongst the critters?
Dirt caked under my fingernails
No, I'm not washing my hands
Aries girl lives in her primal world

That's the thing about connecting with our primal nature
People assume it's just our wild side
But what if you're well acquainted with your wild woman?

I'm reconnecting with my primal side
The side that knows exactly when to act at just the right moment to avoid wasting precious energy
The side that knows the value of deep rest and restoration

I take 2 hours to do one task
Just because I want to
Because there is no rush
I have to keep reminding myself that
There is NO RUSH.
I think I said that to myself about 20 times today

Soothing every inch of my nervous system after a very ungrounded year.

This new evolutionary cycle I am cultivating a deeper connection to my earth placements & mama earth herself. This is of upmost importance to my overall wellbeing and for the true wealth I desire.
