Libra

The Equinox (Spring in the South, Autumn in the North) initiates our transition into Libra.

Arriving at another pivotal point in the Zodiac wheel, the halfway mark. This is where we start to bring in the opposing side of the first 6 archetypes and start to work with the polarity points.

Welcome to the Axis of Relating: Aries ~ Libra

Virgo had us turning inward. Libra turns us outward, into the mirror of relationship.

Here, a deeper understanding of the self is revealed through others ~ in dating, friendship, business, even rivalry. Every 1:1 encounter challenges us to step beyond our own perspective and enter into another’s reality.

Libra is learning to cultivate harmony & equality ~ not by bypassing conflict, but by holding the tension within duality. This lesson is lived by moving between extremes, holding the scales steady while weighing both sides. Indecision often arises, as Libra is mindful about upsetting the current equilibrium it has created.

As the external expression of Venus, Libra uses the feminine qualities of beauty & aesthetics to shape environments. This is not in vain, it serves a bigger purpose. Our external surroundings influence our inner state, and Libra intuitively creates harmony outwardly, so that harmony can flow within and visa versa.

At its highest, Libra teaches us that true equality is not cultivated through sameness, but through creating equilibrium in the presence of difference.

Now to bring in the polarity point of Aries...
Aries teaches Libra to maintain a sense of self within relationship, and that sometimes the most “fair” and balanced act is to put yourself first, facing conflict directly rather than avoid it.

Libra teaches Aries to consider the impact of their actions on others, and that asking for help & support is an essential part of cultivating healthy relationships.

The highest expression of this axis is interdependence ~ a balanced dynamic where each person maintains individuality while also sharing mutual emotional intimacy.

The Axis of Relating:
This month you are being called to reflect on where you are sitting along this axis.
Do you lose yourself within your relationships? A shadow of Libra is co-dependence.
Do you only think of yourself and forget about others? A shadow of Aries is self absorption.
How can you work within these archetypal frequencies to bring balance into yourself & your relationships?
