Sagittarius

Scorpio took us down into the underworld, into the depths of our being. In perfect cosmic timing, optimistic Sagittarius arrives with her bow drawn and her arrow ready to pull us out into the world with her fiery light.

After Scorpio season, Sagittarius invites us to reclaim our faith in life. Reminding us that fun is a spiritual practice, and that so much is possible when we approach life with play and a sense of adventure.

Sagittarius thrives on being in direct relationship with life and with this comes her understanding that our belief systems shape our reality. She rewrites the old phrase “I’ll believe it when I see it” clapping back with “I’ll see it when I believe it”. Through this knowing, she claims her freedom, the freedom to choose her thoughts, direction and her experience. Teaching us that personal sovereignty is our choice to make about how we engage with the world and live our life on our own terms.

Ruled by the expansive Jupiter, there is a constant hunger for growth beyond the known in search of a truth to live from and ultimately embody.

This quest for truth can take Sagittarius down two different paths of exploration: outward into the world, learning from foreign places and people and/or inward and upward through study, philosophy and higher education.

This month we are dancing on the axis of understanding... bringing in the polarity point of Gemini. Gemini teaches Sagittarius to remain curious and open minded. To honour the vast tapestry of perspectives that make up our world, where multiple truths can exist at once.

Sagittarius teaches Gemini to integrate and embody the information it gathers, to step out of the mind and into the direct and felt experience of life.

The highest expression of this axis is to remain a curious student of life, weaving information & knowledge into lived wisdom.
